OUR SERVICES

The sea leaves no room for mistakes.
That’s why every service we offer is built for control, safety and precision.

Wherever you navigate.

EXPEDITORS

All GIS expeditors are long-serving professionals with at least 15 years of experience in the loss control and cargo assurance sector.

They are familiar with a wide variety of cargoes

and loading/discharge terminals worldwide.

Our team includes Master Mariners qualified by OCIMF, blending experts, vetting certifiers, chemical engineers, industrial engineers,

mechanical engineers,

and naval engineers.

CARGO BLENDING AND ADDITIVATION

Understanding the fluctuations of the current market and the commercial limitations imposed by available products,

we can add value

and margin to all your oil cargoes.

This allows you to meet the high demands of a competitive trading environment

and offers a flexible approach to meet the contractual

and physical limitations of oil commodities.

SHIP TO SHIP

Understanding the fluctuations of the current market and the commercial limitations imposed by available products, we can add value and margin to all your oil cargoes. This allows you to meet the high demands of a competitive trading environment and offers a flexible approach to meet the contractual and physical limitations of oil commodities.

LOSS CONTROL AND CARGO EXPEDITING

Wherever you experience unjustifiable cargo losses, we are there to investigate and highlight any unclear and questionable terminal practices and procedures. We know from experience that the vast majority of independent inspection companies will not engage in this type of loading operations or post-discharge investigations related to losses or shortages for fear of upsetting their local, regular terminal client base.

GEORADAR

Georadar is an electronic device capable of investigating soils and detecting the position of buried materials with considerable detail by exploiting the reflection of electromagnetic waves through the GPR system. The GPR analysis illustrates trends of electromagnetic discontinuities in the subsurface setting, allowing their detection and interpretation as metal materials, concrete foundations, pipes, cables, cavities, and even fluid leaks (spills) from buried and strategic assets.

MAGNETIC STRESS MEASUREMENT (MSM)

A non-destructive diagnostic method that captures micro-imperfections and heterogeneity ("stress") along metal structures by analyzing the magnetic field naturally emitted

by the metal body

(e.g., a buried pipeline or an oil tank). Mechanical and structural inhomogeneities in the metal body disturb the natural magnetization, causing a disturbed magnetic field. GIS features the latest generation of the 3D laser scanning system X7 Trimble and possesses extensive know-how and skills essential for interpreting scanned data

in various operational contexts.

LASER SCANNING

Laser scanning is a popular land surveying method that accurately measures and collects data from objects, surfaces,

buildings and landscapes.

Laser scanners collect information in the form of point cloud data, consisting of millions of 3D coordinates (XYZ coordinates). Modern laser scanners can collect detailed point clouds,

and with point cloud processing software, these datasets can create digital 3D models of the scanned environment.

Therefore, laser scanning can be applied to detect deformation along under-pressure assets

(e.g., a pipeline or an oil tank) through time-shifted scanning.
